General Description

Students will study the AQA Syllabus B Short Course “Key Beliefs, Ultimate Questions and Life Issues”. This course is based on Christianity. The units studied cover a wide range of issues including:

• The Existence of God
• Suffering and Evil
• Abortion
• Prejudice and Discrimination
• War and Peace
• The Environment and Animal Issues
• World Poverty

The course appeals to those who like to discuss current issues, and also encourages those who do not readily take part in debate to appreciate the views of others and to think for themselves. Assessment Students will sit an examination of one and three-quarter hours.
