Knole Interact update

Last term we raised £1000 to split between our 2 chosen charities,  Blesma, a charity for limbless veterans and Ellenor, a local hospice.  We managed to raise this fantastic total from contributions at the tuck shop, the Easter Raffle and the Talent show.

After much discussion, the Knole Interact team decided that this term they wanted to support a Suicide/Mental Health Charity and with the Heads Together campaign, started by Prince William and Prince Harry, being in the headlines recently, it seemed appropriate to choose a charity linked with this particular campaign.  So again we have chosen 2 charities to support this term,  Young Minds and The Mix.

Young Minds (  work to prevent mental illness from developing and to improve early intervention and care for those living with a mental health problem.  Please have a look at their website and share information with your child. There is a useful section on their website specifically for parents.

The Mix ( is the UK’s leading support service for young people aged 25 and under. They can help with any challenge you’re facing - from mental health to money, from homelessness to finding a job, from break-ups to drugs. They can also be contacted  24 hours a day via online, social media or free, confidential helpline.  The website contains lots of information for various situations and is ideal for those people who prefer not to talk to anyone initially.

The tuck shop will continue every Friday lunchtime at 1.30pm and as the weather gets warmer we will be selling milkshakes – please watch this space!

Thank you for your continued support.
