University of Lancaster Workshop

The Art department welcomed two Textiles lecturers from the University of Lancaster to broaden the Year 12 and 13 Textiles and Graphics students’ knowledge of further education options in related fields. The group participated in a practical workshop, a group discussion and were able to view students' work from the University of Lancaster’s BA Textiles Design course.

“I discovered more information about what courses are available to me for future study of fashion, fashion promotion, design and styling. The lecturers were really friendly and informative.  I left the workshop feeling more confident and having more knowledge on my future prospects.” Elliemay Year 12 Textiles Design and Graphic Communication
