Parents' Association Christmas Fair 2017

We had a record breaking fair this year raising £6000 - an amazing effort for all concerned!  Students ran stalls in their forms and as usual showed great creativity and enthusiasm in raising money, but also made it fun. The stalls included a chocolate fountain stall, lucky dip, throw the ball into the Christmas logs, guess the name of the stick insect, various cake stalls, bacon rolls for the Y11 prom, biscuit decorating, various tombolas, waffle making, and finally beautifully designed and crafted laser-cut Christmas decorations.

The top selling forms were 7MR who made £176 profit, closely followed by 9LC and 8AS.

Business studies also had their students running apprentice-like entrepreneurial enterprises and the PA stalls were also doing a roaring trade in toiletries, books, tins, cakes, gifts, hampers and the ever popular chocolate tombola. The Knole Interact team were there and sold second-hand uniform and sweet treats for their charity of the term, CoGS.  Private stalls also added to the occasion and over 300 people came through the door.  It was a truly festive community event.

Huge thanks to all the staff and students for their efforts, and to the parents involved in the event.

I would like to thank all parents for supporting the non uniform days by providing items for the stalls and for those who purchased raffle tickets.  It was a bumper year in terms of raffle prizes donated by local businesses and for tickets sold.

Merry Christmas to you all.
