Press Release 2018 GCSE Results
Once again Knole Academy would like to congratulate its Year 11 students on their GCSE results in 2018. As the first cohort of students to complete all of their examinations in the new tougher specifications there was a huge amount of uncertainty in their outcomes. Students exceeded their targets in mathematics, food and drama.
Over half of the students achieved pass grades in English and / or mathematics.
Students of particular note across a wide range of subjects include Mae who achieved an A grade or equivalents in Engineering, Maths, Sociology and A* in Science. Megan who achieved A* in Beauty and A grades in Science and Psychology and Hannah who achieved A** grade 9 in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Music and A* grade 8 in Physics and Geography. Hannah also passed Applied Mathematics with an A grade which she had been taught with collaboration with Sevenoaks School.
