Knole Academy Website
"Good and rapidly improving". This is how OFSTED judged Knole Academy in November 2012, after only one year and one term of having all our students on one site. We know that we are now even better. Historically, much was made of the boys and girls merging into one school but we are confident that the academy's high standards of academic work, excellent pastoral care and superb behaviour are second to none. The team at Knole Academy has a huge amount of experience - in senior leadership, in teaching and in pastoral care. We pride ourselves on the fact that OFSTED were effusive with their praise. We value every student no matter what their ability, we challenge them all to be ambitious and conscientious, resilient and aspirational in their thinking. With our sponsors, Gordon Phillips, Sevenoaks School and Kent County Council, our vision is to foster an engaging learning ethos, using state-of-the-art technologies to develop new skills and create high aspirations for our students for their academic achievement both for their time in school and for their future lives.
In an academic year where changes to government policies have been introduced to increase the rigour of all qualifications students at Knole Academy have gone against the national trend and results have improved once again. The Academy has recorded its best ever figure for students achieving 5 A*-C grades.
Congratulations to all of our A Level students who achieved the best ever A Level results in the life of the academy. 100% A*-E pass rate and 48% A*-B grades with all students offered the university of their choice. I am proud of you all. Best wishes for your future and please keep in touch. Mary Boyle, Principal
