"Good and rapidly improving". This is how OfSTED judged Knole Academy in November 2012, after only one year and one term of having all our students on one site. We know that we are now even better. Historically, much was made of the boys and girls merging into one school but we are confident that the academy's high standards of academic work, excellent pastoral care and superb behaviour are second to none. The team at Knole Academy has a huge amount of experience - in senior leadership, in teaching and in pastoral care. We pride ourselves on the fact that OfSTED were effusive with their praise. We value every student no matter what their ability, we challenge them all to be ambitious and conscientious, resilient and aspirational in their thinking. With our sponsors, Gordon Phillips, Sevenoaks School and Kent County Council, our vision is to foster an engaging learning ethos, using state-of-the-art technologies to develop new skills and create high aspirations for our students for their academic achievement both for their time in school and for their future lives.
Hair & Beauty students turned their design story boards into real life studies as part of their course work. With new hair, make up, nail art and themed costumes, their models were virtually unrecognisable after their transformations!
Head Girl Isabelle Austin took part in the regional heat for the national ARTiculation prize, a public speaking competition that aims to promote appreciation of, and generate discussion about, Art.
On Thursday 30 January, Knole Academy played host to the Sevenoaks & Amherst Rotary Presentation of Project Haiyan. Distinguished guests included the Philippines Consul General, Mr Senen Mangalile. Read more.......
