Hairdressing students attended Salon International

On Monday the 13th of October the year 12 and 13 hairdressing students attended Salon International and had an incredible opportunity to experience the heart of the professional hair and beauty industry, Held at Excel London. The event brought together top stylists, brands, and educators from around the world, offering students a first-hand look at the latest trends, cutting-edge techniques, innovations in hairdressing, barbering, and beauty. The trip allowed students to watch live demonstrations from renowned industry professionals, gain insights into potential career pathways, and explore new products and tools directly from leading brands. We also got the opportunity to visit an ex-student and saw her portfolio for the Schwarzkopf colourist title, and it inspired us and showed us the different career paths you can take within the hairdressing industry. It was not only an inspiring educational experience but also a valuable networking opportunity, giving students the chance to ask questions, collect resources, and make connections that could support their future careers. Overall, the visit to Salon International gave us a deeper understanding of the professional standards and creativity that define the modern hair and beauty industry, motivating us to continue developing our skills and passion within the field.
