Stan Lee was an American comic book writer who created many characters including; Hulk, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Daredevil and the X-Men. His work engulfed the comic world and its fans. His desire was to merge quality literature with outstanding illustration and therefore brought the comic book to the forefront of the literary world. His abilities as a writer and artist have inspired following generations to commit millions of dollars into the industry.  He was the first writer to promote strong black female and disabled characters; Black Panther, Black Widow and Daredevil respectively.  He was also a philanthropist.
